Ok so these aren’t the most flattering of pictures but when it’s cold and drizzly outside the motivation to prance around and is minimal, but I really wanted to show off my latest pair of jeans.

I’ve gone from being the girl who never wore jeans to having a sudden desire to own several pairs in various styles and colours. I’ve surprised myself by favouring the good old skinny jean over any other and this pair from DressKode are the latest additions to my catalogue. I’m forever a bit wary about wearing skinny jeans as I’m not the biggest fan of my thighs (what girl is?) but these do feel quite flattering and I love the mid-blue colour paired with a simple cream jumper and some brown heeled boots.
Primark has long been my staple place for picking up fluffy jumpers, for a tenner each and dozens of colours every visit seems to end up with me picking up yet another. They are the perfect piece for dressing down with jeans as I have done here or for wearing to work when you just know the office is going to be drafty.
What jeans cut do you favour? I’m after some flared ones next I think…a flashback to my teenage years!
Im not a fan of wearing jeans, I just don’t like the thick feeling of them, esp the seams. The three pairs I own are all a decade old at least as I can tolerate those ones but wear them very seldom. They do look good on you and other people though so I wish I felt more comfortable in them. X

It is strange how our taste in clothing can change. I am a bit like you – I never wore trousers of any kind until just over a year ago but after I was persuaded to buy some by my friends I now wear them regularly and love them.
I have not yet progressed to jeans yet though. I am not sure about the image of me in blue denim and skinny jeans would not be for me! I would like a more casual form of trousers though and may be tempted to get some jeans in a more modest style perhaps in black or burgundy one day soon.
You look great in your skinnies though Laura and there is no need to worry about your thighs!

I like skinny jeans for winter but prefer boot cut in summer. The fit of your new jeans looks perfect and I love the colour of your jumper. Great to see a white Christmas (snowflakes falling) on your blog even if there probably won’t be one in real life!
These jeans look great on you! It can be hard finding the right fit but they look perfect. I’m a skinny jean addict although this summer I did try out boyfriend denim…so comfy! x
